Is this product available for use in my country?

Almost any car manufactured in the past ten years (2008 or newer) registered in the US and Canada will be compatible with both AutoPi and Macaron devices. We are also supporting many cars across the EU and the UK. 

We are currently only supporting vehicles with 17-digit VINs.

Yes, 2008 or newer Big Rig Trucks are also compatible.

Yes, Teslas and Smartcar-connected vehicles are also compatible. Please make sure to review compatibility with Smartcar with your VIN #. Here.

Is my car compatible with DIMO devices? 

Here's a comparison,  

1. Point Generation: The Macaron device generates 2000 points per week, which is approximately 1/3 of what the AutoPi device offers.  
2. Affordability: The Macaron device is significantly more budget-friendly, making it a cost-effective choice while still delivering access to DIMO services.  
3. Compact and Portable: With dimensions of 4.75" L x 4.75" W x 1.375" H (12.065 cm L x 12.065 cm W), the Macaron is incredibly compact, similar in size to a wallet.  
4. Connectivity:  The Macaron uses the Helium network to connect and upload information, use this map to locate yourself and see if you have a hotspot near where you drive. Autopi connects using LTE cell tower connectivity. 

Both the Macaron and AutoPi devices grant access to our full range of DIMO services and integrations, giving you the flexibility to tailor your experience to your unique preferences and needs.  

In summary, the Macaron is perfect for those who want an affordable, compact, and efficient solution connected to the Helium network. On the other hand, the AutoPi device is better suited for users who require more advanced features and prefer LTE cell tower connectivity.
